This is a simple scene, two window left and right with sunlight from the left. A standard omni around the right window to smooth it out. Done in Max 9 and rendered with Mental Ray, I then touched it up in Photoshop a bit, mostly exposure.

This scene is inspired from a furniture advertishment. I set it up in max and made two large windows, one from the room on the right and one from the left where the light comes in. I used arch&design mental ray materials and rendered in mental ray, max 9. Then I added a bit of noise on the carpet in photoshop, so that it looks less smooth. I set this scene up to look like a country house out of the 70s, it is actually inspired by an existing suburb house in Athens. I altered the mood a lot, dead colors and morbid athmosphere. This is a scene of a child room, this one is also a summer light scene. I used yellow and red colors colors to make it soft and I didn't want to use anything shiny. This is all max9 and mental ray, I then went into photoshop and touched the bedshit a bit, I smoothed it out. Zanni is a harlequin character, one of the three character for the animation project I've been working on for the last 3 months(graduation film). He comes straight out of Commedia dell'Arte but I am also influenced from the film "Clockwork Orange" for this character. I used 3D studio max and Photoshop for this still image.
